Terra Helps Church Groups with Development Projects

A Vancouver Sun article on Saturday March 23, 2019 written by Dan Fulmano and Douglas Todd, "Houses of the Holy" describes how Vancouver church groups are attempting to benefit both their congregations and the community facing a housing crisis by redeveloping their land assets to include housing.  Terra has been successfully working with local church groups wanting to do just that since the 1980s.

Managing Partner, Simon Davie is quoted in the article and is shown in front of a project Terra completed with the Wilson Heights United Church, an affordable housing project for seniors and families.  Terra is currently working with a number of church groups in a variety of municipalities - finding creative development solutions which are enabling church groups to upgrade church facilities and add much needed housing.

Simon also worked with the Mission Association for Seniors Housing, which included a number of church groups as member partners, to develop Cedar Valley Manor, a seniors life lease project in Mission.  Life lease projects are another options for groups to develop housing while maintaining control over their land assets.
