In 2017, after working together for over 30 years, Lu’ma Native Housing Society, an Indigenous owned and operated organization with extensive experience in developing and operating affordable housing for and providing support services for Indigenous people, partnered with Terra Housing to form Lu’ma Development Management (LDM), an Indigenous owned and staffed development management firm. 

Since inception Terra has worked closely with Indigenous governments, communities and housing societies across B.C. to develop over 1,100 culturally appropriate housing and community spaces for individuals, elders and families of Indigenous ancestry. We have also provided consulting, portfolio reviews, planning and research into housing-related issues and policies for Indigenous groups and governments.  In 2017 all Indigenous development work at Terra was moved to LDM.
