Robert Nicklin place provides a total of 164 affordable homes in Coquitlam, including one, two, and three-bedroom units, 35 of which are accessible. Of the 164 units, 74 are subsidized and 90 are rented at low end of market rates.
It features an expansive landscaped courtyard, an on-site playground, an amenity room, and a total of 134 secured and wheelchair accessible parking spaces for residents and guests.
The project, led by Affordable Housing Societies, was made possible through contributions from the City of Coquitlam, Metro Vancouver and Translink development charge waivers, BC Housing’s Community Housing Fund, and CMHC Co-Investment.
Terra provided development management services to the society in coordinating design, zoning, permitting, contract business terms, due diligence and financing. Terra’s worked with Affordable since 1984, together completing over 2,000 homes including this project.
