One Twenty West (Woodwards)

This project is part of the redevelopment of the Woodwards Department Store site in downtown Vancouver. Terra worked with the Society to complete this component of the overall development which houses low and moderate income families in 75 units in the 32-storey Abbott Tower, which also houses market condominiums.

The site includes 536 market condo housing units, 125 units for area singles operated by PHS Community Services and nine accessible apartments for the disabled, operated by the Vancouver Resource Society for the Physically Disabled.

The original seven-storey Woodward’s building, constructed in 1903, remains intact to house businesses on the main level and offices on the floors above. Included on the site are a Nesters Food Store, London Drugs and other retailers, the Simon Fraser University downtown campus with its School for Contemporary Arts, a daycare, a public atrium with basketball court and an outdoor plaza.
