Neghuni Ghunli-un

Neghuni Ghunli-un is a three-storey building situated adjacent to the new Stuart Lake hospital and ideally situated to serve the seniors population in Fort St. James. The 36 unit project features an amenity room, laundry rooms, tenant storage, secure scooter parking at grade, and an office space for management and home support workers. Neghuni Ghunli-un provides a safe place to live with continued autonomy for seniors to take part in meaningful activities and maintain social and family connections.

Terra supported Connexus Community Resources through a successful BC Housing Community Housing Fund application as well as CMHC’s Co- Investment (now called the Affordable Housing Fund). Seed funding was provided by CMHC and a municipal grant was provided by the District of Fort St. James.

Terra provided a full range of development management services for this project from origination to completion. Previously, Terra has worked with Connexus Community Resources Society as the development manager for the assisted living units upgrade of the Society’s Riverside Place which was completed in 2007 and Parkview Place and Aurora Home completed in 2022.
