Amber House and My Sister’s Place

This project provides a range of housing and support services for women-led families. The project features 18 transitional housing units and 16 second stage housing units for women and children fleeing violence as well as 21 affordable townhouses for low income residents. Tenant support workers work with residents to assist them in maintaining their tenancy, transitioning through personal challenges and helping them achieve goals. The project received funding under the Building B.C.: Women’s Transition Fund and from the CMHC Seed Funding program.

Terra has worked with the Prince George and District Elizabeth Fry Society for many years. Previously Terra provided development management services for the Society’s Rainbow Village project, a 40 unit townhouse complex completed in 2000.
