The Society hired Terra to conduct an extensive review of HFBC’s portfolio of properties and prepare a report with recommendations regarding the potential for redevelopment of properties, potential to purchase neighbouring properties as well as ways the Society might better use their assets to increase revenue without any negative impact on tenants. Implementation of these recommendations has resulted in the Society having an annual positive cash flow which has been used to purchase and create many more units of affordable housing.
