This is the redevelopment of the Society’s Evergreen Court building which was aging and in need of replacement. The site is well located with nearby practical and recreational amenities for seniors. The new building will be a 4-storey, wood-framed structure with 130 units: 120 affordable housing units for seniors and in partnership with the Delta Housing Be Mine Society, 10 units will house adults with intellectual disabilities. The project is being financed via three levels of government: the City of Delta, under the Provincial Community Housing Fund as well as through the CMHC Co-Investment program.
