Brightside Nelson Project

The Brightside Nelson Project is a groundbreaking collaborative initiative between the City of Vancouver, Brightside Community Homes Foundation, BC Housing, and Terra Social Purpose Real Estate.  

The 28-story mixed-use development will feature 283 residential family units, 18,745 sq. ft.  Fire Hall built to Passive House standards, and 60 childcare spaces to support the community, and represents a significant step toward enhancing the community infrastructure and providing much-needed housing solutions in Vancouver. 

Construction is scheduled to begin in late 2025, with occupancy expected in 2028. This project represents a significant step toward delivering sustainable, community-focused housing in Vancouver.
