Norman Bethune Co-op Renovation

The Norman Bethune townhouse co-op buildings were deteriorating and most of the components had already reached the end of their functional lifespan. TAM produced an AMP, prepared a funding application for renovations to the co-op and provided project management services for this 24 unit co-op. Scope of work was a complete building envelope replacement including membranes, roofing, decks, siding, windows and doors.

The co-op was delighted to hold an opening celebration of the completion of the building rehabilitation in August 2017, where President Ray Shaw congratulated the tenacity of the members who kept driving forward when “everybody was saying Norman Bethune was lost”. Mr. Shaw also stated “I want to point out how TAM stepped in for us and helped make this happen. We couldn’t have done it without you”..
