Kelly Lin

Development Manager

Kelly joined Terra in 2017 as a Development Manager, providing the management of social purpose development construction, with responsibilities including strategic planning, budgeting, grant sourcing, due diligence, client relationships and more.

Prior to joining Terra, Kelly worked in real estate development for 18 years as an Architect and Real Estate Developer in major international centres including New York City.  She has also worked with a variety of non-profit organizations and in 2014, started her own non-profit organization to empower women.  Kelly has specialized skills in strategic planning, source funding, real estate finance, brokerage, design and management of real estate developments ranging in type, size and complexity, as well as TI projects.  She has been involved with the development of more than 2000 units of housing, community spaces, hospitals, commercial buildings and more, funded from public and/or private funders.  Kelly is proud to work closely with her current clients including Port Coquitlam Senior Citizens Housing Society, Langley Lions Housing Society, Douglas College Students' Union, Sanford Affordable Housing Society, Hollyburn Family Services Society and many others.

Kelly graduated from the Stern Business School of New York University with an MBA and MS in Real Estate Finance and Investment.  She also holds an Architecture degree from the University of Manitoba and a Psychology degree from the University of California, Berkeley.

Kelly volunteers with several not-for-profit organizations including Vancouver Adaptive Snowsports (teaching children with disabilites to ski), British Columbia Mountaineering Club Trail Committee and as a founder of Surfmeimei (empowering women to take up outdoor activities).  In her spare time, Kelly is a surfer and outdoor adventurer.
