Rhoda Kaellis Residence | Lookout Housing and Health Society

Terra worked with Lookout on this redevelopment of the site of the Garfield Hotel. The building houses low, fixed income New Westminster residents who have a history of homelessness and who can live independently but who will benefit from support and assistance in developing basic life skills.

Named for the late Rhoda Kaellis, a tireless champion of the homeless, it features 11 transitional housing units as well as 13 permanent independent housing units. The main floor has communal space with a lounge and community kitchen. The residence has been certified LEED Gold.
