Holmberg House is the first adult hospice in Abbotsford.  The 10 bed facility provides hospice care for adults as young as 19 who are facing a terminal illness.  Lounges, a library and a serenity garden are amongst the project's amenities.

Terra worked with the Abbotsford Hospice Society to complete this much needed project for the community.  Holmberg House offers a hospice plus model of care, which means residents can receive treatments in the hospice which previously would have seen them transfered to a hospital settings.

The hospice is named in honour of Dave Holmberg Jr. who passed away at from cancer at age 48.  The Holmberg family have been generous donors to the project.

Holmberg House is part of the Dave Lede Campus of Care, which includes Matthews House which offers respite care to children from across the province and Dave Lede House, part of the Canucks Place organization providing care for children with progressive, life-threatening illnesses.
