Terra Principal at CHRA 49th Congress

Terra COO Simon Davie will be a workshop panel member at the CHRA 49th National Congress on Housing and Homelessness held in Halifax, Nova Scotia, May 2 - 4, 2017.

The workshop on Wednesday, May 3rd is entitled New Opportunities in Rental Housing Financing and will debate the various challenges impacting the lack of rental supply, such as private sector incentives, rental assistance, innovation and federal financing.  It will also raise awareness of the important role the non-profit sector can take in filling the low and middle income rental housing void.

Simon will be presenting case study examples of mixed-tenure rental housing developments in relation to real estate risk, public/private partnerships, project fundamentals and pro formas and discussing the role of non-profits as self-sustaining rental project managers.
